In March 2025, while visiting our daughter in Australia, Madhavi and I began a diet regimen. In May, while browsing YouTube, Madhavi came across Dr. Dixit lifestyle approach and his “90-Day Challenge.”
We were drawn to the simple yet scientifically sound principles underlying this concept and decided to adopt this lifestyle.
We thought to ourselves, “Since we are already following the diet, why not reach out to them and see if we can officially participate in the challenge?” So, we made an inquiry.
I was asked to submit my most recent medical reports. I happened to have a report dated August 30, 2024, which I forwarded to them. I informed them that I would undergo fresh tests upon my return to India in June and submit the updated reports thereafter. Consequently, they enrolled all three of us—Madhavi, our daughter, and myself—in the challenge.
“You reap what you sow.”
“You must first put in the effort…” —this adage came to mind.
As planned, I returned to India alone on June 5th. I was determined to continue with the lifestyle. Since I was able to manage everything on my own, I encountered no obstacles along the way.
These 90 days marked one of the finest periods of my life. This method proved to be not only practical but also a significant confidence booster. Eating just twice a day—combined with a heightened awareness of food and a sense of discipline—brought about positive transformations. It was not merely a shift in eating habits, but a radical transformation in my mind-set.
By the end of the 90 days, I had lost 1.6 kilograms of weight. However, my waistline had reduced by a remarkable 6 centimetres. But most importantly, I feel lighter and far more energetic. My self-confidence has soared, and I have gained a greater sense of control over my health.
I extend my heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Shrikant Danke, the administrator of our group, for his unwavering guidance and encouragement. Furthermore, there are few who adequately express their appreciation for Dr. Jagannath Dixit sir, the visionary behind this entire initiative. The saying, “The power of resolve—the fruit of your determination,” came to my mind.
It is true that your determination is the very cause of your success.
