I had been living with diabetes for the past 5–6 years. After reviewing my reports, the doctor started me on diabetes medication. I used to take tablets twice a day—morning and evening. I genuinely wished to stop taking these medicines, but I couldn’t find a way out.
One day, I happened to watch Dr. Jagannath Dixit’s video on YouTube. After watching the video, I felt the need for personal guidance. I visited Dr. Dixit’s center on Jangli Maharaj Road. There, I received guidance from Ashwini Atkekar Madam, Vishwas Sir, and Dr. Dixit himself. On that day, my HbA1c was 7.1%, and my weight was 86 kg. Since my height is 176 cm, I was advised to lose 10 kg.
From that day onward, I sincerely adopted the recommended lifestyle. The center advised me to get my HbA1c tested after a month. As instructed, I did the test and was delighted with the result. My HbA1c had dropped to 6.3%, and my weight had reduced to 78 kg. I had moved from diabetic to pre-diabetic. This boosted my motivation even more. After another month, I got tested again and was even more thrilled—my HbA1c had dropped to 5.7%, and my weight was down to 73 kg. My weight had now become proportionate to my height. By January, my weight further dropped to 69 kg. The doctors at the center stopped my medication. And it was purely because of lifestyle changes.
I wholeheartedly thank all the mentors who guided and educated me on health, especially Ashwini Atkekar Madam, Vishwas Joshi Sir, Dr. Dixit, and the entire DRC Group. Everyone was always available on call and frequently exchanged messages. I once again thank Dr. Dixit Sir for bringing such a transformative change in my life. I pledge to follow this lifestyle for life and remain free from diabetes.
