My husband, Lalit Navlakhha, had been diabetic for many years. He regularly attended the center and greatly benefited from it. He was very insistent that I get myself tested as well. Finally, due to his persistent request, I underwent an HbA1c test on 22.05.2023. At that time, I had no symptoms or any kind of discomfort.
The next day, the test results came in, and my HbA1c was 6.9%. I was shocked and surprised—how could I have diabetes without any symptoms? I immediately went to the center on Jungli Maharaj Road. Thanks to my husband, I was already somewhat familiar with this lifestyle at home. Still, all my remaining doubts were cleared, and I began strictly following this lifestyle from the very next day. At that time, my weight was quite high—83 kg—and I also had foot pain.
Regardless, I started eating and walking regularly. In just three months, I lost 7 kg, and my HbA1c dropped from 6.9% to 6.2%. Even my fasting insulin dropped below 10. I began to feel more energetic and lighter. Even after working the whole day, I didn’t feel tired. This was a huge positive transformation. In just three months, I moved from being diabetic to pre-diabetic. By March 2024, my HbA1c reached 6.0%, and by then, I had lost a total of 11.3 kg.
My husband also greatly benefited from this lifestyle. He lost 17 kg, and his diabetes medications were significantly reduced. Today, everyone in our family is very content and happy.
