My Transformation Story
Having been diagnosed as a diabetic (with HbA1C – 6.8%) on 10th November 2020, I consulted a renowned Endocrinologist in Kolkata and commenced taking medicines . However, I was worried as my father was a diabetic person and I had seen his sufferings.
I came to know about *Dr Dixit* in September, 2021 from my friend & neighbor, Mr A Dasgupta, who had commenced *Dr Dixit’s diet plan* from August, 2021. I went through the lectures delivered by *Dr Dixit*, purchased the book authored by him and studied the book in detail. After going through my initial test reports,*Dr Dixit* advised me to follow his diet & exercise (walk) plan and stop the diabetes medicine from the day 1.
I stopped the medicine and started his 2-meal diet plan from October 01, 2021, with breakfast at 9.30am, dinner at 7pm and two cups of black tea at 7 am and at 5 pm. I stopped eating sweets and fried foods and reduced my carbohydrate intake. My breakfast would typically consist of a few almond & walnuts, salad, two eggs, two chapattis with vegetables and curd, while in dinner I take a few nuts, salad, chicken/fish, one chapatti and vegetables. I had been practicing 45-50 minutes morning walk since years, but, at a speed of approximately 5 km/hour. However, as advised by *Dr Dixit*, I gradually increased my walking speed to about 6.5 km/hour.
After following *Dr Dixit lifestyle* plan for two months, my HbA1c level came down to 5.7% and this was without any diabetes medicine! However, it took me three more months to reduce the HbA1C to 5.6%. My Fasting Insulin also came down from 11.8 to 7.8 IU/ml and I am now non-diabetic. In addition, my weight has reduced by 5 kg and my thyroid medicine dose has also reduced.
I must acknowledge here that I have got immensely benefited by following *Dr Dixit Lifestyle Plan* and I am really grateful to *Dr Dixit* for his advice and guidance. I shall continue to follow this plan and will suggest all my friends and relatives to follow *Dr Dixit Lifestyle Plan*.
