After arriving in Pune from Ahmednagar on 10.06.2023, I started experiencing excessive thirst at night followed by frequent urination. I consulted my doctor for a check-up. After the tests, my blood sugar level was found to be 575. I then went to a lab to do an HbA1c test, and it came out to be 16.7%. I had no idea what sugar levels or HbA1c meant, or what they should ideally be.
The next day, my daughter Sonal Mule came from Bangalore. After seeing the test results, she immediately advised me to visit Dr. Dixit’s Pune Center. I went to the center on 25.06.2023 and met Dr. Dixit Sir and took his guidance. I began following the lifestyle he recommended. I started eating only twice a day and walking 6 km within an hour daily. When I repeated my HbA1c test on 25.07.2023, my reading had come down to 10.4%. I felt immense joy and satisfaction. I gained confidence that I could overcome diabetes.
When I took the test again in August, my HbA1c reading came down further to 7.4%. I felt proud of myself. My self-confidence in becoming free from diabetes increased. Other than walking and eating only twice a day, I used to drink only water in between.
Now I am very happy. My family’s support has been invaluable in this journey. I am extremely grateful to Dr. Dixit Sir. I will continue following this lifestyle for the rest of my life.
