My Transformation Story
I am Madhav Kulkarni, 64 years old, residing in Pune. I never thought I would have diabetes. However, in June 2024, I decided to go for a general check-up, and after doing so, I was diagnosed with diabetes. My HbA1c was 7.7%. Seeing this report was a shock to me. I did not want to start medicines at this age. I wanted to avoid the side effects of medicines.
I had heard about Dr. Jagannath Dixit sir. So, I decided to visit his Pune center to seek guidance. On 15th June 2024, I went to the Pune center with my reports. There I got complete information about Dr. Dixit lifestyle. The doctors there advised me not to take medicines but to sincerely follow the lifestyle. They also explained that if I did not follow the lifestyle properly, then medicines would be required.
I have been sincerely following this lifestyle. Within just four months, I experienced a lot of changes. My weight reduced by 3.15 kg, waist circumference reduced by 6 cm, and most importantly, my HbA1c came down from 7.7% to 6.3%. I moved from the diabetic category to the pre-diabetic stage. This boosted my confidence. Earlier, I used to feel sleepy all the time, but that has also reduced. Most importantly, because my waist reduced, I had to change my pants and shirts. That gave me a lot of happiness.
I am determined to continue this lifestyle permanently and try to become completely free from diabetes. I believe I will achieve this.
Now, whenever I meet someone who has diabetes, I tell them about this lifestyle and the center. I have received very good guidance and support from the center. Although the center runs completely free of cost, the care and concern shown there is remarkable. Even my blood pressure medicines have reduced in dosage.
Today, I feel very satisfied. I still have to reduce more weight, and I am definitely going to work towards that.
