For the past 15 years, I have been immersed in the world of IT. Often accompanied by the convenience of junk food, I ended up neglecting my health. However, June 23, 2023, became a turning point in my life. At that time, I began facing issues with my eyes and was diagnosed with Type A diabetes. My HbA1c level had reached 9.8%.
Despite having a family history of diabetes, I had never faced any health-related issues until now. But suddenly, the problem surfaced prominently. That’s when I decided to visit the counseling center in Pune.
There, I absorbed invaluable information. I was fortunate enough to meet Dr. Dixit in person. After learning about Dr. Dixit’s transformative approach to lifestyle, I wholeheartedly accepted it. Following the advice given by the doctors at the center, I decided not to start diabetes medication immediately.
Over the next 3 months, I embarked on a new path focusing on weight loss and diabetes management. I strictly followed the dietary guidelines provided by Dr. Dixit’s team. My optimism about improving my health and reducing weight increased significantly. Every week, I could observe remarkable changes within myself.
I express my heartfelt gratitude to the volunteers and doctors at DRC Pune, especially Dr. Dixit, for their invaluable guidance. I am also deeply thankful to my wife for her unwavering care and support throughout this journey. In addition, I sincerely thank the ADORE Trust for their contribution to my health efforts.
