Q. Sir what is type 1 & type 2 diabetes?
Is our diet plan effective in hereditary diseases & diabetes?

A: There are many types of diabetes. Type 1 is called juvenile diabetes, it is diagnosed generally before the age of 15years and the cause here is body not producing insulin. The treatment is insulin injections. Type 2 diabetes is also called maturity onset diabetes and generally occurs after 40yrs of age. Here body produces enough or even more insulin but is ineffective.
The investigations of HbA1C and fasting insulin give us idea about functioning of pancreas. The treatment for type 2 diabetes is oral medicines, and insulin if sugar levels are not controlled by oral medicines.
Our diet plan is effective against newly diagnosed type 2 diabetics and not type 1 diabetics.
Our diet plan has beneficial effects for obesity and hypertension but it is not an "all cure" for other diseases!
