Question of the Day: Effects of eating a meal slowly or rapidly

Question : Effects of eating a meal slowly or rapidly
Answer : When you chew the morsel (bite) for 32 times ,saliva and other digestive enzymes are secreted and support the digestion very well.
If one eats in a hurry, the digestive enzymes are not secreted in appropriate quantum manner, resulting in improper digestion.
Secondly it’s observed that, those who eat slowly , consume lesser amount of food than those who eat fast or rapidly
** from the time one who takes the first bite , insulin level reaches its peak in an hour’s time and subsequently, it reaches to its normal level in next one hour.
Therefore it is recommended to finish the meal within 55 minutes.
If one continues to eat longer than 55 minutes, the insulin reaches it’s peak and continues to secret again.
Therefore, it’s essential to eat slower, however the meal shall be completed in 55 minutes.
