I first watched Dr. Dixit Sir’s interview on a TV show in 2015. By following the Dr. Dixit lifestyle, I had successfully lost weight at that time. Back then, Sir had given very simple guidance — eat only two meals a day, finish your meal within 55 minutes, and walk 4.5 km daily in 45 minutes. I did lose weight, but due to lack of regularity and discipline, I gradually gained it back.
In March 2025, my blood pressure increased, and our family doctor started me on medication. I asked him when the medicine could be stopped, and he clearly said, “If you lose weight, the medicine can be stopped.” That is when I decided to once again adopt the Dr. Dixit lifestyle for weight loss.
While watching Sir’s lectures on YouTube, I understood the proper structured meal pattern — finishing meals in 55 minutes in a sequence of dry fruits, salad, soaked sprouts/pulses, roti with vegetables or curry-rice, and reducing starchy foods as much as possible. In May 2025, I learned about the 90-day weight loss challenge on YouTube and decided to participate with the goal of losing weight and stopping my BP medication.
As advised in the program, I got my HbA1c and fasting insulin tests done. The reports showed that I was pre-diabetic. This motivated me even more to strictly follow all the instructions of the challenge.
These 90 days became the most disciplined, positive, joyful, and hopeful phase of my life. Eating only two meals a day, sharing food plate photos, sending walking screenshots, doing yoga and daily exercises (guided by Dr. Ashtekar Madam), attending Sunday lectures, participating in group activities, sending activity photos, and filling the daily Google form — all under the strict monitoring and guidance of the admins — helped me develop regularity, awareness, and self-discipline.
Trying new healthy and tasty recipes was very motivating, and because of all this, I could see clear positive internal changes in my body and health.
I sincerely thank Dr. Dixit Sir for starting this life-transforming mission. I also express my heartfelt gratitude to our group admins — Anagha Kale Madam, Leena Madam, and Medha Madam — for their constant guidance and encouragement.
I am especially grateful to my husband, Shri Nitin Prabhakar Mantri, for his valuable support, continuous motivation, and for always helping me — whether it was reminding me to send meal photos, exercise and walking screenshots, or filling the daily Google form — without ever getting tired or irritated.
