QUESTION OF THE DAY: 15th January 2026
Q. Sir, can you guide us (new members) about how to start ? I am trying for last 3-4 days but cannot control hunger. (Punit Baheti)
A. Dear Punit, good that you asked this question. I am sure everyone will benefit from my answer
1) It is crucial to identify two times when you are really hungry. If you can not identify then follow either of the usual two patterns: 9am, 6pm or 1pm,9pm. Remember it may be a trial and error for first 8 to 10 days.
2) Once you identify these timings, then eat at those fixed times. A variation of 15 to 20 min is allowed.
3) You can eat everything you want in these two meal times of 55 minutes each.
4) If you feel hungry in between two meals then:
understand that hunger is mostly psychological, generally we eat because we get to eat, many times we confuse hunger with thirst.
5) If you feel hungry in between….first drink water, then try buttermilk, then coconut water…..at the end eat one tomato!
6)Please get your HbA1C and fasting insulin done…it is important for knowing whether you are prediabetic, diabetic or normal
I hope I have answered your question
